Corey Grigg is a burgeoning young baritone hailing from Bridgewater, NJ. Currently based in Chicago, he performs a wide range of opera, operetta, oratorio, and art song repertoire from the Baroque Era to the Twentieth Century. Corey will again join Music of the Baroque for the 2011-2012 season. Conducted by Jane Glover, Music of the Baroque is one of Chicago’s premier Baroque ensembles. Concerts include Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, Handel’s L’Allegro, il penseroso ed il moderato, and Bach’s Mass in b minor.

Corey performed the title role in a concert version of Rachmaninoff’s Aleko, sponsored by the Northwestern University Russian Department.

Love was in the air as Corey was the featured soloist for the New Philharmonic’s Valentine’s Day concert!

Corey joined the North Shore Choral society in a concert celebrating their 75th anniversary. The program included a variety of great baritone solos from their past performances, including works by Fauré, Haydn, and Mendelssohn, as well as Copland’s Old American Songs.
